Ivoclar support for Sydney dental practices

Ivoclar's digital workflow connects scanners, design software and milling equipment. We keep the network and computers behind that chain reliable.

Ivoclar is best known for materials, but modern practices increasingly run Ivoclar digital equipment: milling units, furnaces and the software that drives same-visit restorations. Each link in that chain is a networked device or a Windows application.

When a digital workflow breaks mid-treatment, the cost is immediate: a patient in the chair and a restoration that can't be produced. Most of those failures trace back to ordinary IT causes, such as a network drop, an update, or a workstation that's fallen out of spec. Keeping those causes rare is our job.

What we handle around Ivoclar equipment

  • Network setup for milling units and equipment
  • Workstations for design and control software
  • Reliable links between scanner, software and mill
  • Software environment updates without surprises
  • Wi-Fi and cabling in clinical and lab areas
  • Being on site for equipment installations
  • Backup of design files and workflow data
  • Coordination with Ivoclar support and dealers

Where we stop and the vendor starts

Ivoclar and its dealers handle the equipment itself: clinical setup, materials and mechanical service. We handle the IT that surrounds it, and we coordinate with their technicians whenever a fault sits across both worlds.

One call for your practice

Report the problem to us, whatever it looks like. We diagnose whether it sits in hardware, network, Windows or the application, fix what's ours, and manage the vendor case when it isn't. Your front desk stays out of the middle.

More about our dental IT support

Ivoclar support questions

Our mill keeps losing connection to the design software. Can you help?

Yes; this is classic IT territory. Intermittent drops usually come from the network path between the workstation and the unit: a flaky cable, a consumer-grade switch or power management settings. We trace and fix the path, and involve Ivoclar if the unit itself misbehaves.

We're adding digital equipment to the practice. What should we prepare?

Network points and power where the equipment will live, a workstation that meets the software requirements, and switch capacity for the extra devices. Send us the equipment list before installation and we'll have the site ready.

Do you support the lab side as well as the surgery?

Yes. Whether the equipment sits chairside or in an in-house lab area, it's the same network and the same IT principles, and we support both.
